Located about 80 miles North of Salt Lake City, Logan is in the heart of beautiful Cache Valley.  Logan provides picturesque views with mountains in every direction. Logan is known as a great place to live and raise a family.  Logan offers many outdoor activities including rock climbing, boating, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, snow skiing, snowmobiling and more.  Logan also attracts people from all over to attend the Utah Festival Opera Company and the Ellen Eccles Theatre. 

Notable landmarks in Logan are the Logan Tabernacle and the Logan Temple, both owned and operated by the LDS Church.  Also, seen towering about the city is Utah State University’s Old Main. 

Logan has a bustling economy with new jobs coming available often. Logan's job market offers jobs in technology, education, manufacturing, agriculture, retail, and more.  Current unemployment is about 2%.   

Logan has a diverse population as Utah State University is ranked in the top 10 for value, high academic standards, and job placement after graduation.  Currently USU has over 25,000 students.  The Princeton Review has categorized Utah State as an “undiscovered university” and recently named it “Best in the West.” 

Logan has also been named as one of the safest cities in the US with some of the lowest crime statistics in the Nation. Local residents take pride in keeping Logan safe.
